The Position:
Reporting to the Church Minister, the successful candidate will provide musical support to the congregation by;

• Playing piano at all regular Sunday Church Services and other Special Worship Services as scheduled.
• Accompany our youth, adult choir and other musicians.
• Play for the monthly Home Care Services.
• Optional playing as needed for weddings and funerals.

Qualifications:
You are a skilled pianist and have music skills that are equivalent to the level of at least RCM Grade 8. You have experience as an accompanist and an ensemble musician, with considerable expertise in the delivery of good quality piano music. The ability to play the organ is an asset, but not essential. You are an energetic self starter who is able to organize and manage your time while balancing many priorities. You have good interpersonal skills and possess a willingness to work with others in musical choices and presentations. You are readily adaptable to a changing environment.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience. Hours of work approximate an average of 10 hours/week. There is also the possibility of utilizing church equipment and facilities for your own musical advancement.
